Winter has returned! The range will be closed Saturday, April 14 due to forecast snow of up to 8" and strong winds. We should re-open next weekend if the weather will let us!

Taos Sporting Clays is open all year round, but days and hours of operation change with the seasons, so please check-in based on what time of year you plan on visiting. Reservations are not required, but it's always a good idea to give a call or e-mail to let us know!

Taos Sporting Clays Frequent Shooter Membership offers individuals or families discounts on range fees, ammunition, and accessories for a full year or three year period from the time that a Membership is started. As soon as the Membership application is filled out and fee paid, the discounts begin immediately! Even if range fees were to increase, a Frequent Shooter Membership locks in a range fee and discount schedules for the term of the membership. Even the casual once-a-month shooter will recognize savings!

How to find us!

Taos Sporting Clays is located about 30 miles west of Taos, just north of Tres Piedras, NM, 4 miles north on Hwy 285 from the intersection with Hwy 64. Turn right(East) off of Hwy 285 near mile marker 387 on the BLM's Wind Mountain Access Road. Follow the road for just over a mile and you'll reach our gate, and the road ends in another half mile at the range!
