Taos Sporting Clays posts and requires all shooters to observe these Range Rules:
All shooters and guests must sign-in at office.
This is a SHOTGUN ONLY facility-- no pistols or rifles.
12 Guage or smaller only
Shot size not to exceed 7 1/2
Shot loads not to exceed 1 1/8 oz.
Absolutely no alcohol or illicit substance use on property--violators subject to legal action.
All persons on the course MUST WEAR EYE AND EAR PROTECTION!
Closed toe shoes must be worn on course.
Always keep gun pointed in safe direction.
Guns may not be loaded until shooters are inside the designated shooting station.
Walk with gun actions open--never walk with guns loaded!
No more than 2 shells may be loaded at any time.
No one may shoot alone on the course.
The first person in each sqad may view targets from within
the station with their gun unloaded.
All shots must be fired while standing with gun shouldered.
Target fragments may be sharp--avoid contact with fragments.
Wind may cause erratic target flight--use caution around all thrown targets.
Shooting station cages are placed for your protection and the protection of others--stay inside the cage!
Report any unsafe action or rules violation.
Safety is EVERYONE'S responsibility!!!
